SHALA SCHEDULE

All are Welcome to begin practice and studies with Christina Martini for Daily Classes In Person in Haiku, Maui Hawaii and/ or  Live Virtual on Zoom in Hawaii time zone.   The Monday thru Friday daily classes are flexible start meaning arrive as early as 530am and no later than 8am .  Chanting is done at 530am  and closing chant at 830am with Christina. If arriving after 530am please chant silently in your hearts. 

There are no drop-ins for Mysore and Led classes, all new student , Please review Shala Etiquette, Tuition and Guidelines . All students In Person or Online and traveling visiting students need to REGISTER and complete waiver, release of liability form, you will receive a text, email or call from Christina prior to arriving at the shala.

Traditional Led- Guided Ashtanga Practice (Old School)

Class is Taught By: Led class is guided by Christina Martini

Prepare to be inspired and moved by this beautiful meditative breath practice. The class is guided in sanskrit and minimal assists. This is a led class where we come together as sangha- satsang to celebrate the invigorating therapeutic approach of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

MYSORE CLASS

Flexible start as early as 530am and last arrival is 745am to complete your practice by 845am

Mysore | All Levels welcome: Practice done individually in a group setting with Teacher or with TA or apprentice . Mysore classes provide students the opportunity to expand their experience and knowledge through individualized instruction and allow for traditional ashtanga yoga sequences to be modified to suit individual needs. This is a great class for beginners and those looking to deepen their relationship with yoga and establish a regular, personalized, and sustainable practice.

INTRO TO ASHTANGA

new students to shala with no Mysore experience

New students with no mysore experience will be guided the first month to Intro to Ashtanga Yoga to prepare for Mysore practice. The vinyasa flow is breath guided to synchronize with the movement of the postures. This class is perfect to learn the primary series sequence of postures. Emphasis on the ujjayi breath, nine drishti, three bandhas and ashtanga 8 limbs.

Perfect for No experience, Beginners and Established practitioners with time constraints. 1/2 Primary series and additional postures subject to class attendance will be covered in this class.  

Direct Teaching by Christina (M/W) and Teacher Assistant and apprentice are under the guidance of christina. Rick Walker (T/TH) and Caio Amaral (F)

New Practitioners will explore The authentic practice and flow of the Surya Namaskaras, Basic standing and seated postures taught in traditional Vinyasa method. Physically and Stamina building of Flowing postures taught in an adapted way if needed.

Private Instruction

Private Yoga / Ayurveda Wellness : All levels, No experience to Advance Practice. Traditionally is how Yoga is taught as an individual study between teacher and student. In a private yoga session, the appropriate care plan and prescription of postures, breath, meditation, relaxation technique is offered to your level and at your own pace. We will develop your personal practice to bring growth, development and to improve the areas of your life to bring harmony, balance, joy and healing where needed.
